PETAL was formed in October 1994 by a group of people who had each lost a loved one through murder. The aim of the group was to provide practical and emotional support to others with similar experiences.	The Jewish Bereavement Counselling Service has offered its service for over 20 years to members across the Jewish Community. The Jewish Bereavement Counselling Service consists of a team of volunteer counsellors who are professionally supervised and trained to work with people of all ages.

	Many of us have been victims of crime, and it can be a shattering experience . We're working hard to get the level of crime down but we're also reforming the justice system to put the needs of victims first
